Overview

This is where our children have their first experience in church. This is where we plant the seeds of faith in hope that the children will choose to follow Jesus when the time is right. Luke 8:8 says, still other seeds fell on good soil. It came up and yielded a crop, a hundred times more than was sown. This is what beginnings means in preschool.

Security Policy

When you enter the preschool lobby (Room M-700), you may pickup a beeper if you wish. Only one parent per child is allowed to take the child back to his or her room. Proceed to your child’s room and knock on the door. Wait until the teacher opens the door. Sign your child in, pickup their ID badge or a visitors ID badge, and leave quietly. Please do not enter the classroom unless asked to do so.

When you return to pickup your child, someone will collect the beeper from you. Again, only one person per child can go back to pickup your child. Grandparents, guests, and the other parent must wait in the preschool lobby. Proceed to your child’s room and knock on the door; the teacher will bring your child to the door. Please do not enter the room unless asked to do so.

Why do we do it this way?

It cuts down on confusion and children getting upset. Most importantly, this policy insures the safety of your child.

Sunday School

Like Adult Sunday School, our Preschool Sunday School starts at 9:30 AM.

Do you need directions to your child’s class?

Stop by the Welcome Center, and someone will show you to the correct class.

Worship Training

Worship Training is available for K4 and K5 during the 10:45 AM Worship Service.

Adult leaders guide children through a worship time that includes Bible story, music, prayer, and tithing. This program seeks to prepare children for corporate worship.

Babies – K3 can stay in their Sunday School classroom for ETC (Extended Teaching Care) during either service.
